Here is an example patent I am trying to query for:
MX2015000988
Title: A LIQUID FORMULATION OF LONG-ACTING INSULIN CONJUGATE.
As you can see in the title, it has a keyword that includes a hyphen: LONG-ACTING
In both the API and in the Espacenet website's advanced search, none of these searches will return this patent:
(titleandabstract="LONG\-ACTING")
(titleandabstract="LONG-ACTING")
(titleandabstract="LONG?ACTING")
(titleandabstract="LONG*ACTING")
"LONG?ACTING"
"LONG-ACTING"
LONG-ACTING
LONG\-ACTING
LONG?ACTING
LONG*ACTING
I have another, proprietary keyword that I need to search by, but even though I know patents exist, there seems to be no way that I can retrieve them from the search using the keyword.
How can I query by a keyword that has a hyphen?
Cannot use dash (hyphen) in keyword search

Re: Cannot use dash (hyphen) in keyword search
Dear user,
In the query, please replace the hyphen with a space.

Kind regards,

Yes, that appears to work. Thank you!
