Error on getting fullimage
Error on getting fullimage
Dear OPS Team,
I tried to get the fullimage for JP.2003279382.A
The inquiry gave me the info that there are 8 page available.
So download page 1 to 7 works fine but when asking for:
http://ops.epo.org/3.2/rest-services/pu ... ge?Range=8
I get the response:
SERVER.DomainAccess
The request could not be processed. Please try again later
Can you help on this issue?
Regards
Gerald

Hi Gerald,

Re: Error on getting fullimage
No, not really, his link is OK and since the document was already reloaded now the link works again and gives requested page (was reloaded already yesterday).
Only if you specifically want TIFF's you will amend the link, for PDF you don't have to.

Re: Error on getting fullimage
Hello,
I found two other patents with the same problem when loading the fullimage:
EP.3769063.A1
EP.3769169.A1
Can you please check and reload the images.
Best regards
Gerald

Re: Error on getting fullimage
Hi Gerald,
Your two cases are un-published EURO PCT's (have one of the EP procedural languages already so they won't be translated and published as full text of that A1 biblio - WO full text apply ), their full text is only retrievable by using WO publication number and querying WO full text.
It works like this to see if full text is there and it works also with Claims and Description constituent at the end.
.../rest-services/published-data/application/epodoc/WO2019US32824/fulltext
.../rest-services/published-data/application/epodoc/WO2019EP53931/fulltext

Re: Error on getting fullimage
Hello Vesna,
thanks for the fast reply.
Below I added the response I get for the Image inquiry service. There I see the link "published-data/images/EP/3769063/A0/fullimage" to retrieve the document, which you said, that it is not available with this EP number. Further down you can see the link to the WO number.
So this means, I have to request for the EP image first and if I do not get a response then check the other link?
It would be helpful to just get the correct link here in the response.
Regards
Gerald

Re: Error on getting fullimage
Hi,
Actually, I was assuming you are asking about characted-coded full text in XML and not PDF's (I am not sure why... ) . But that's not a problem, its good to explain PDF's too:
A0 is not a document, A0 is a page saying that EP A1 does not exists as full text, but that you have to take WO instead.
When looking for PDF's of such EURO-PCT's you can do a search with EP number as oppose to XML where you get error if you try searching with EP. And you will see reference to WO linked to such EP, which means there is no EP publication, only WO full text, with same reasoning as I mentioned when i thought you were after XML full text.
I hope that explains it,
Regards,
Vesna
