Hello,
I'm facing problems when trying to load image data from OPS.
For my requestes I got back the follwing responses:
http://ops.epo.org/3.2/rest-services/pu ... ge?Range=1
response.StatusCode: OK / XThrottling: busy (images=green:100, inpadoc=green:45, other=green:1000, retrieval=green:100, search=green:15)
http://ops.epo.org/3.2/rest-services/pu ... ge?Range=2
response.StatusCode: Forbidden / XThrottling: idle (images=black:0, inpadoc=green:60, other=green:1000, retrieval=green:200, search=green:30) / X-Rejection-Reason: ThrottlingControlQuota / Retry-After: 216383
As I could not find any specific documentation about the Retry-After on OPS, does this mean, that I have to wait 216383 seconds to continue the loading?
Regards
Gerald

Re: OPS Throttling-Control Retry-After
Hi,
I cannot confirm that now because I didn't have a chance to see your log but it looks like you went over your quota, but I don't see if it was daily quota (450 MB/day) or you were over the allowed weekly quota (4,5 GB if you have free of charge).
If you want more exact information then send me your user name to patentdata(at)epo.org and I will have a look at what exactly that was. Its also important to know when exactly did you get that response and what was the error (any of the errors in 400's series??)
Retry After response in Header theoretically gives info on how many seconds you need to wait, but its hard to say the reason for it without error code that came with the request. Still, maybe I can see something in your logs.
Your information in retry after is around 60 hours so it could really be that you exhausted your weekly quota and the system was saying to wait until 0:01 GTM Monday to resume the service.

Re: OPS Throttling-Control Retry-After
Gerald / Vesna,
216383 seconds is ~2.5 days, so I guess it is not your daily quota. You submitted friday around noon, noon on friday + 2.5 days is midnight on sunday which, depending on your calendar, would be the start of a new week.
My quess is that it was your weekly quota.
